TEST INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Read the instructions carefully before starting the test.
  2. Collect cat’s or dog’s feces sample using the cotton swab. Refer to the instruction leaflet for proper sample collection. Once the sample is ready, the test takes 10–20 minutes to complete.
  3. Mix the sample with the buffer liquid by inserting the swab into the buffer liquid tube and stirring thoroughly to ensure proper extraction.
  4. Prepare the test: Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and place it on a flat surface.
  5. Add the sample to the cassette by using the enclosed dropper. Place 2-3 drops into the two S (sample) window on the test cassette.
  6. Wait 5–10 minutes and read the results.

A-PET-CARE One Step Toxoplasmosis test for cats and dogs is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay (LFIA). The test device has a testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and C (control) zone. When the sample is applied into the S (sample) hole of the device, the liquid will laterally flow along the surface of the test strip. If there is enough Toxoplasma Gondii antigen in the sample, a visible T band will appear in the window. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result. This means, the testing device accurately indicates the presence or absence of Toxoplasma Gondii antigen in the sample.

The test results are ready in 5-10 minutes.
